I cant tell you anything about the land owner, but I can tell you several of the birds would have been shooting distance from HWY 30 if you just hop out of your truck. If will take a picture because they are usually there when I leave as well

Yea, saw 5 gobblers on my way home from work last week,Amory. Its supposed to be raining Saturday morning til mid morning, I may postpone opening day until sunday. I do not hate deer nor turkeys nearly as much as I used to, so it doesn't upset me to let them live a day or two longer.

I am to the point that I would rather see about 5 nice gobblers than a 10 point buck. I don't think there is a better sight than a gobbler fanning
