Rooker base hit! 4-1 State, bases still loaded. That broke up the no-hitter haha.

Rooker with a 2 rbi base hit.
I love Rooker's potential...
Another base hit from Robson! 6-1 State. Robson is good.
6 runs on 2 hits. Awesome.
Another base hit by Robson
Pretty funny that we now have 5 runs on 1 hit.
Gridley just hit an inside the park HR on a pop fly just past 2nd. Ummmmmm......
2B apparently almost made a great catch and tried to sell it, and Gridley just kept running.
So...9-1 State, I think?
A) Agree. I think he's basically right, but the over the top approach wore thin.
B) Cohen sac bunting before the 7th and I'm like....

Haha did we just have an inside the park homerun?
How many runs came in on that?
I must admit -- I was high on Smith in center and not high on Robson. Todd was right about him....
We need to keep the same thing in mind about Swinarski. It's tough when you get here at a young 17 yrs old...
Gridley with a big HR. Inside the park that is.
why are the games not on watch ESPN?
9 runs, 1 earned. Hahaha
I want to say it's personnel availability to broadcast two different events at once on campus. In other words, we need two full broadcast crews, and we only have one currently. I think I've seen that stated somewhere by Stricklin, but wouldn't swear to it...
Sexton worked quickly that inning. 9-1 State going to B3.
I'm sitting in LF... The guy clearly caught Gridleys ball. Like no doubt.
2 on, 2 outs for Humphreys.
Humphreys line drive fly out to RF. 9-1 State after 3.
Nice inning for Sexton.....strikes out the side.
Sexton K's the side
He's starting rocking and rolling now. This is just what we've needed to see from him...
Sexton strikes out the side in a 1-2-3 4th. He's settled down nicely. Still 9-1.
That's the downside on Rooker.... He's going to K alot. But I'm fine with that as long as he's hitting for power as well...
Robson got a hit. About time.

And Gridley with an RBI double to score Robson. Those two are good.
Gridley has to play every day now until he stops hitting. I'd figure out a way to get Heck, Holland, and Gridley in every game. Shouldn't be that hard since we've had issues at 3B.
Lovelady with an RBI single to score Gridley. 11-1.
Gridley is stroking... Great baserunning from him too....
Reynolds flies out. End of 4, 11-1.
Put Holland at 3B and leave Gridley at 2B. Can Rooker play 1B? If not, move Hump to 1B.
Yep, we have a chance to have two separate lineups. Something like:
Heck
Holland
Collins
Humphreys
Robson
Gridley
Rea
Smith
Vickerson/Brown/Rooker
I mean, we have a lot of good hitters. The idea of Smith hitting 8th is crazy, but so is the idea of guys like Brown and Rooker hitting 9th.
I could see a lot of different lineups depending on how guys perform, though. I could even eventually see something like:
Robson
Smith
Collins
Humphreys
Holland
Rea
Heck
Rooker
Brown
5th K in a row for Sexton.
What is Robson's BAVG and OBP? He's the MVP so far.
Reynolds apparently made a nice jumping catch at 3B. Nice.
