IF Robson can get on base. Tony Kemp's leadoff value came in his OBP not his speed this year for Vandy. I dont care if he's Usain Bolt, if a leadoff hitter aint at .380 OBP he's a waste.

Is Preston palmeiro still a possibility to sign with us?

Maybe not, but on that last out yesterday, I was glad it was Detz making the throw to first rather than Frost. If it had been Frost the throw would likely have pulled Rea off the bag or skipped by him in the dirt. Frost definitely has quicker reactions though and he likely would have caught the line drive that Detz missed that VA scored their 2nd and 3rd runs on Sunday night.
