They arent going to drop much. They still gonna buy talent.

They hired a solid OC. They will be fine
Our problem is us. We dont fund the program to compete in the SEC
I am not going to include Vandy because they are private and don?t know their situation but I know Ark, State and UK have been the least funded programs since NIL and there is a reason the 3 of us have been at the bottom the last few years.
The Committee should be ashamed of themselves for these trash games.
I also think these conferences should change a tie breaking rule that it should be the highest ranked team. The fact Duke was playing in the ACC title over Miami was just ridiculous. Having this rule applied along with expanding the field to 16 would prevent this. If that had been the case this year we get to add ND, Vandy, Texas, Utah and BYU and scrap JMU. That would?ve been a much better playoff.
They're going to miss Kiffin's play calling and portal evaluation ability long term. And then add in a more difficult schedule and I would say that the odds that they decline are really high. Kiffin is taking most of their scouting dept. to LSU.
That said, we do need to focus on us. If we do that we will be right there with them in the future.
Yeah, I don't think so. Miami had 7 sacks on a guy that can move. That cross wind was hell on QBs with much better arms than Shapen. I've only saw one love afffair stronger than yours of Shapen... jans for jones.
Let's just say you're right though... they wouldn't have made it to today with Shapen
Well it's frustrating when you hear about how we spent about $6MM on assistants and off field personnel in 2025 while Mississippi spent $10MM. When you hear about how they just outbid us for the WR coach. We got people here praying Mississippi will fall back to us when they have so much more infrastructure in place to remain on solid ground than we do. We dont even have any solid ground.
Too many of you have your head in the sand and expecting miracles to happen.
The difference now is that it’s run like an NFL franchise with schools having a GM and front office types becoming just as important as the coaches. Welcome to Cleveland gentlemen
During the OM game I saw 2 commercials with OM Players. OM has Corporate sponsors as does LSU and other schools. I have heard and this may not be correct that when Rev Sharing begins then all NIL will go through collectives and anything over 600 will need NCAA approval and Name Image and Likeness will be more like it was supposed to be. All this info came out during the LK drama and why Saban told LK to go to LSU because of the instate HS players who want to play there. What has MSU done on this front instead of pinching the Turnips AKA the everyday fans?
So you are comparing a school with over 60,000 students that could probably pay State?s Entire NIL with just their Student Fees to a school with 22,000 students, 25% of which are probably from poor Mississippi Families and another 15% foreign students on Student visas? Nice.
What he is saying is that to compete in today's football you need money. And plenty of it
LSU announced today they are paying their RB coach right at a million per
Sorry guys, but this is total lunacy! There has to be reset in collegiate sports in the fairly near future. This is not sustainable!
