This. I’ve been calling it all along. This wasn’t some big strategy though. They almost lost him but ponied up to what he wanted to stay (unlike State did with Mullen). Once the contract was in place it’s just wait until after the EB to announce it. They win and it’s the final nail in the State football programs already partially buried coffin.
