It would be very unusual for someone to clean out their office and pack their shit in their car that is being retained.

LOL, Sh*t happens. Many years ago I took another job, but didn't sign a contract and went home told school officials, this was on a Friday me accepting and Saturday telling my school i was leaving. Well, school got a package for me and Monday morning I call other school to say I change my mind. Lordy be if you guys would have heard the rant because other school told everyone they had their new Coach! LOL
update?
The good news is Wake Forest has a bunch of pitchers that entered the portal. They could be waiting to see if he gets a head coaching job. I wouldn't think they would do that if he told them that going back to Wake Forest was an option
I find it hard to believe that Parker is going to stay personally. He likes autonomy and with O'Connor being a pitching guy and involved with the pitchers some I'm not sure he will be down with that.
There is a possibility it is neither one of them.
It's looking like Parker is being retained.
Tomas Valincius now following Justin Parker…..I think that answers the question.
What I hope then is that with O'Connor can help him with his management of the pitching staff. I feel like Parker let some things get out of hand at times this season by trying to steal innings and not recognizing that his pitcher doesn't have it soon enough.
I'm OK with this. He has some weaknesses but if he was handcuffed by our NIL we certainly have more now and the players eating it up are gone.
Also the larger issue was his management of the pitching staff but O'Connor will have more oversight on that I would imagine.
What does Bert Stare have to say about this?
I think a lot of that may have been because our pitching staff was so thin this season. The regional showed just how few dependable options we had, especially after Hungate was lost. With more reliable options available he would likely be willing to swap out pitchers more quickly.
I like the idea of keeping Parker. Being around a new and motivated staff will defintely shake off any bad energy from being under Lemonis. You can't argue with what he did last year. What is the explanation for this year? We had some injuries and portal misses last summer, but how much of that is on Parker?
Even if we got Muscara, it would have been a one year deal. He will be a HC somewhere by next summer.
Justin Parker. Back like he never left, mostly because he didn’t.
Just announced he's staying
