I think they will relax. It will at least give them clarity about the direction the program is going in. I'm sure there are some that were going to transfer no matter what and some that are hoping to stay.

It's also fairly realistic for a baseball movie- which makes it even more hilarious. Obviously there is some schtick there and it's not meant to be a documentary but there are always a lot of characters in the clubhouse.

You have the super religious guy that has been around for 10+ years (Eddie Harris), The guy that used to be a star that's just trying to hang on as long as possible and is a team leader (Jake Taylor), the rookie who has more talent and upside than anyone on the team but he has zero experience and doesn't know what he is doing and there is a good chance he will throw it all away because he barely fits into society (Ricky Vaughn), the prima Donna who is talented but is never going to reach his full potential because he is more worried about his golf game and getting hurt (Roger Dorn), the guy from Latin America who is stuck in a different culture who has a ton of power but can't hit anything that curves (Pedro Cerrano), and then you have the superfast leadoff hitter which isn't really around much anymore in Willie Mays Hayes.
