You say that like we aren?t just as liable to drop a midweek game or a game to Mizzou. I wouldn?t be shocked in the least if either of these happen?

We definitely will be in a Regional with 14 SEC wins but I don't see this team getting to 14. Primarily because, like today, this team can't seem to win a competitive game against a decent team. Really the only exception was the 2-1 game we won at OK. We've lost every other close games we've played this year and will continue to do so because this team is soft and doesn't play with an edge. It's just a culture thing at this point.
Fla has a 32 RPI right now. They have a path to get in a Regional with 12 SEC wins
No fan should ever cheer against their team for any reason, including wanting a coaching change. I just wish we had people in charge of decisions like that who had the balls to make a change even if we make it into a regional. I want to know if they think this program should be elite or not. It'd be nice to know where our priorities are so that those of us who want to win more titles can know if we should stop wasting our time.
The reality is one of these things is going to happen at the end of the year.
A. Lemonis is going to get us into a regional and make enough noise to get into a SR. If that happens he is coming back for 2026 and rightfully so.
B. Lemonis is going to get to a regional and get knocked out and the boosters are going to say that's not good enough and fire him. It's possible.
C. Lemonis gets to a regional but tells him he has to make major staff changes- likely Gautreau and Cheesbrough and unless he is an idiot he fires them and the boosters try to steer Coggin and Ammirrati from Georgia to MSU. This might be the most likely outcome. But I wouldn't say it's imminent.
D. Lemonis misses a regional and gets fired.
To be honest with you, all of those outcomes show commitment to winning IMO. I don't know how it will play out but I think all possibilities are on the table.
The big boosters are investing a lot more money into MSU than me or you combined. They're not going to be happy with a consistently average product especially now that they know what our true ceiling is.
Lemonis is way worse than Stansbury. So why is 34 beating his drum. I’ve seen Little Coaches better than Lemonis.
