Heck his slider is an elite pitch if he could command it just throw nothing but sliders like the Mets used to do with Turk Wendell. But of course command is his problem with everything. His fastball is plenty good enough but he's always behind in counts and has to groove to many pitches. Can't do that at this level. None of those things you mentioned will help him with command. Some people just never get command.Quote:
