I'm sitting in a hotel in Houma LA right now. Scheduled to fly in a chopper offshore tomorrow morning at 6:30. Am I dead???
Lol
I've been told it doesn't look good.
Heavy wind and lightning and my deck is covered with hail in Madison.

So, counting tonight's two warnings, that's three tornado warnings for parts of Clinton in the last couple or so weeks. So much fun.***
It will be interesting to see what these storms tonight do to the severe threat tomorrow. Lot of guys on our team think they'll drop the moderate risk at 1:00, and I wouldn't be surprised if that did happen. I do expect the northern extent of the risk areas to be moved south. A lot of the NWS offices have already done that on their own.
You missed some good hail, marbel size in Madison.
We went on the porch when it was coming down. My wife got a video. It was intense for a couple of minutes.
Sitting down here at the heliport. Staring at each other, drinking coffee, and questioning my life choices. Lol
Think the threat for Hattiesburg has diminished some? Radar looks like it's a jumbled mess and not necessarily a big line
Things apopping here on the coast. 2 TWs one of which is heading E on I10/
Slidell, LA with two tornados (or two touchdowns by the same one maybe), Stennis Space Center with one as well. Several other warnings in the Picayune, Diamondhead, & Biloxi/Gulfport areas. Looks like it was a rough morning down that way.
We've had a lot of rain and lightning and some wind gusts maybe to 30mph but thats about it. We're soggy but no issues here in Jones County.
Severe threat appears to be over for the state but more storms and rain are expected tonight further saturating the grounds. This, in conjunction with winds gusting up to 40mph tonight and tomorrow will add to the threat of trees falling.
