As I said- both are good college QB's. Cant really say one is better than the other. Levis throws longer passes- thus his 10 yards per attempt. He has only completed 11 passes to RB's. Rogers has completed 42 passes to RB's which accounts for his 4% better completion percentage and his 7.3 yards per pass. Different offenses. Their arm strengths arent comparable at all.

Well... All I am saying is every time I see Levis, he doesn't look good. He doesn't even make me say things like I did prior to LSU about Daniels. Levis doesn't see the field. He doesn't see wide open guys who are begging for the ball.

He makes some spectacular throws but his recognition is poor.

I can drop every stat in the world to show how Will Rogers is a top 5 QB.

It doesn't matter. He fails the NFL Eye Test. Arm feels a little too weak for being a First 2 Day guy.

Levis looks like he mentally doesn't have it to be an NFL guy. Gives strong Ryan Mallet comparison. Great talent and size you want. Great on designed plays. Too slow in his progressions. Accuracy leaves something to be desired. But someone will convince themselves they can make him into a great QB. And maybe they can. He'll likely need some time in the oven though.

Re-read your comment man. It sounds like you're talking about Ryan Mallet lmao. I literally said he has the arm you want and the size you want. I didn't say his accuracy was bad. I said it left something to be desired. But his main knock is decision making.

I read your post. "arm feels a little weak for being a First 2 day guy" is what you said. Guy has the best arm in the SEC. His OL is a problem for them and will be why we beat them if we do. But the guy is ballin out so far

Sounds like Justin Herbert ... see how that's worked out. Qb is a crapshoot in the nfl as the draft goes. But not many guys make it wo elite arms.

Somethings I caught after rewatching the game.

Duncan made a heck of a play to punch the ball out on aTm early redzone possession. That fumble was all because of Duncan's heads up play.

RaRa absolutely snatched a few balls always from aTm DBs. He is physical receiver.

After rewatching the 1st QTR the DL needs to get penetration because TAM was gashing us before that fumble. We also need to do better wrapping up on 1st contact otherwise Arky will run over us.

While at the game I took notice that TAM had twin safeties with heels lined up inside ten yards off the line of scrimmage. Also, I noticed when in cover 3 all defenders, but single safety, had their heels within ten yards of the line of scrimmage also. This happened often, not all the time. I have got frustrated, in the past, asking myself why Mississippi St. fails to observe the difference between cover 2 and cover 4 and check into the better plays? Throwing a swing pass is not a substitute for not observing if a twin safety defense is cover 2 or cover 4? Against TAM Miss. St did not throw mesh plays or many swing passes and things went well.

The defensive game plan against Mississippi St is to compress the line of scrimmage plus ten yards. This shuts down the run and short game i.e., swing passes, mesh plays and short option passes.

Against TAM Mississippi St. called plays that could logically exploit the defense TAM presented. Against LSU, Mississippi St. disregarded the compressed defensive front and suffered the consequences.

I have noticed that Mississippi States offense functions better when it stops throwing so many swing, and short mesh passes against compressed defensive fronts. Sadly, bad habits die hard and we will at some point go back to our bad habits.
