Well to be fair Smith has been here like 9 years. If the coaches haven?t figured out he isn?t a starter by now shame on them. The coaches saw a team make essentially 3 straight trips to Omaha and didn?t capitalize recruiting wise. Shame on them. Was one of the mound visits last inning an injury visit? They had 2 visits and didn't pull the pitcher.
We needed more than 2 runs out of 2nd/3rd with 0 outs, given the situation. Another missed opportunity.
