256 is plus?? Ok... so the guy is hitting 14 points higher than forsythe. Swell. He's plus.

Forsythe is going to start for us next year at SS or 2B. You can write that in ink.

We will have a transfer or two to add to the mix.

We recruited a large MIF class this past year. Nearly all were processed and Forsyth played only after James, Leggett, and Jordan had issues.


Berry, Puckett, Lewis, and Reed are not on the team anymore. Meche is a bit player. So Forsythe is really the lone survivor next year.

James is OF at 3B, Dubrule graduates, and Leggett graduates.

MSU usually gets a Foscue or Burke Masters from a big class like that.

Leggett still has eligibility due to COVID and very well may return

If Forsythe could hit .270 in the 9 hole and play the type of defense that it looks like he will, he will be a big asset. I would expect him to be better in the field and at the plate next year, just from experience alone.

Of course, if we have a major league type SS come in, that might change things.

He is welcome to comeback but we need to get a 4 year studs from small schools or Big 10 or Western Mid Majors
