Purdue is a really, really good school. One of he best engineering programs in the country. I don't know much of anything about what else they're good at, other than having the world's largest marching band drum.

I haven't seen them in leisure suits and/or puka shells @ Iowa. I've been to their home stadium in West Lafayette, IN - and, frankly, it sucks. 3x more Iowa fans than Purdue that day (and others).

Other than Drew Breese, they got little going for them in football.

They're not like Georgia Tech (who REALLY dress up for games, i.e., circa 1920s with hats, dresses, mustache wax and vests).

Most Purdue people are very cool and don't drink much if at all.

What do you expect when 6-6 Big 10 teams are picked to play an even 7-5 SEC west team? Gotta fill those 100** bowls with teams somehow. Their officials don't know a 6 from an 8 either. Must have the EGG Bowl crew.

Purdue is totally and completely outmatched. AU's 7-5 is a bit misleading. They got way more talent than Purdue. The SEC is just a hell of a grind.

Gus throwing ahead 49 - 7 and not even halftime. Easy to see he and Freeze are friends. The may have to run the clock in the second half to keep AU from scoring 100. Genius Color Man just stated that it was going to be hard for Purdue to catch up.

Auburn now with a MCB record with 56 points. Old record was West Virginia with 49 against the sharks.

If I were Gus, I'd try and put 100 on them. If brohm doesn't like it, stop it or forfeit. Gus has caught all kinds of hell lately (deservedly)... he should make a statement by dropping 100 on Purdue
