I am down with Mike Leach, but he needs to leave the D coordiantor do what he needs to do. Or average 75 a game.

NT. I like the guy but don't want that pass happy crap here. It won't work.
No Big 12 or Pox 12 stuff here. Do not want.
Leach has won with walk-on QBs (Sonny Cumbie, Luke Falk), unheralded nobody QBs (BJ Symons, Cody Hodges, Connor Halliday), and a bunch of 2-star WRs. The set of WRs we'll have next year would be one of the better sets he's had in his career.
Leach talks about in his book about how in his ideal offense, the QB should be mobile to add another wrinkle to confuse the defense. Don't let anybody tell you we aren't set up to run his offense. Also don't let anyone tell you that he doesn't play defense - his defenses at Washington State have consistently been near the top of the Pac-12. Totally unfounded and ignorant myth.
Yall's sources suck! And that my friends is the bottom line.
How many times have we won more than 10 games in our entire programs history? How many times has Mullen accomplished this?
Hire Leach!!!
I'll pass, I like him but if we want to possibly take the next step, he's not the guy. 6-8 wins a year

I'd be good with Leach. Y'all are underplaying what he's done at Washington State. They are the Vanderbilt of the Pac12.
5-15 against Texas and Oklahoma, which is a hell of a lot better than Dan's 2-16 against Alabama and LSU. Finished ranked 50% of the time.

Took over for a guy who won 9 games in 4 years (literally, wow!), so had some tough times early, but has Washington State at the point where they'll rip of a long string of successes if he stays. Beat Stanford the last 2 years, Oregon the last 3 years. 2-1 against USC, 3-1 against Kyle Whittingham's Utah.

Some people love him and some hate him. What is the boards take? He?s crazy..sure...but it?s the fun kind of crazy. Also, he runs a version of the spread which may help him utilize our current players better than someone coming in with an all new scheme.
Isn't he the guy who put a player in a hot box at TCU or Texas Tech? And got fired over it?
Anyone who doesn't want leach has lost my respect.
Come on now.. if everyone thought Mullen was lazy and couldn't recruit.. Recruiitng wise Mullen is a hustler compared to the Pirate.
LOL, no. Funny how rumors get twisted. He told a player with a post-concussion headache that the best treatment was to hang out in a quiet, dark room (AKA the correct medical treatment), and sent him to one with a graduate assistant. The player didn't mind, but his father (disgraced former ESPN host/politician Craig James, who is largely responsible for SMU's death penalty) freaked out and whined hard.
Mike Leach's firing from Texas Tech was because he didn't play the booster game well and they didn't want to give him the big bonus they were legally entitled to give him if he didn't get fired.
