They're independent in football.
Good point.
How did the SEC officials not throw a flag on that? Especially after calling everything close on us? **** that official.
That was the most entertaining 10 or so minutes of the game. Most bizarre thing I've witnessed on the field that didn't see a flag thrown for either team. Mullen could have gotten a flag. UMASS definitely should have been penalized with multiple unsportsmanlike fouls. Strange.
It reminded me of a Big Ten basketball game I was watching a long time ago. I don't remember who was playing but both teams had the typical 7 foot big meat white boy centers you see up there, the dudes were huge. They literally mugged each other at the top of the key on a screen. Both went down. One was knocked out and the other one was bleeding all over the floor. It was a huge pool of blood. No foul. There should have been ejections in that 10 minutes. That there wasn't even a flag is pathetic.
two penalties for chop blocks. That's some dirty shit right there. The hits by Peters and Leo were clean, hard hits.
It?s actually amazing about his behavior when you heard the story from the broadcast team. 57 ( Thomas) during his senior year of HS, left after one of his games and was walking with friends when an ?altercation? occurred that he had nothing to do with (not believing that) and was shot 5 times at close range. That is one bbbaaaaddddddd dude - in every way you can imagine.
57 was a straight punk. I saw what he did to Gerri, but didn't understand it til I saw it on the Jumbotron. He honestly tried to break his leg. No one I talked to had any idea what had happened. The funny part, if there was one, was when the GA or strength coach tried to fight him on the sidelines.
