I don't see CSpire or any other carrier falsifying records. That'd be pretty easy to spot and would open up everyone involved to more lawsuits. Any lawsuit that cspire had won in the past would now be called into question, as well a any future ones.
Deathknell for a company.
A lawyer can't just get phone records from a company without a court order. Mars is still waiting on the records. Not sure why OM tried to delay it, but it could've been one of a million reasons. E.g., Trying appease Hugh, trying to settle with Hugh, trying exclude personal calls, seeing if the court could exempt his UMAA phone, waiting until closer to the season so kids don't transfer when the news hits, etc... They knew they weren't going to win that battle, so they were obviously just delaying.
I agree. But if the moral turpitude was just Freeze's personal issues, they would have said that when they fired him. Even now, if they came out and said that what they found was just Freeze calling escorts, then some of this might go away.
What is clear to me, is that whatever the problem is, it has to do with athletics AND that the NCAA has not found it. We can speculate that it is escorts for recruits and maybe players, and the Chris Jones rumors support that. Whatever it is, they are scared ____less.
"Decided to waive" is code for "had no right to keep you from seeing them" to begin with.
I wonder if a court order to get them straight from C-Spire is possible.
