Sounds like Barney is still firmly in the "protect freeze" mode. He's trying to blame two recruits for lying instead of telling the truth.

So who are these boosters that have the ear of Vitter and Bjork that convince them this strategy is a good idea? Obviously there's Archie and maybe Scruggs. But how can they be so blind to not understand this strategy will surely backfire? No one is that dumb. Is Freeze blackmailing all of them lol
