I heard that Coach Pouge said he was the best HS RB he has seen in a long time..

This isn't official or anything but by doing some rough math I believe he had around 220 yds and a pair of TDs
I'm sure this won't be the first time we compare these two, but lets compare AW and shump. Which ones faster? Which one has more power? Which one is better?
We've had some outstanding RB duos here over the years. Michael Davis/Bernard Eulls. Dicenzo Miller/Dontae Walker. Boobie Dixon/Christian Ducre. It's looking like Aeris Williams/Ashton Shumpert will be right up there among the best we've ever had. I can't wait to see what they do over the next few years. Could be very special.
I think Williams(and possibly Shump) will be able to move the ball some against tougher defenses -- something we really haven't had since AD. That's why our offense looked the best under Mullen in 2009 against the better competition IMO
according to Paul:
West Point RB Aeris Williams had 25 carries for 258 yards and one touchdown, two receptions for 14 yards and one touchdown and two kickoff returns for 48 yards
season stats: 57 carries for 452 yards and five touchdowns, seven catches for 48 yards and one touchdown, and six kickoff returns for 102 yards.
Thank you Hacker, I hadn't seen that yet. The crazy thing is, with a little over 4 minutes left in the third quarter, West Point started giving the bulk of the carries to Starks. So Williams essentially had his 258 yds in just a little over 2 1/2 quarters.
averaging 8 per carry against South Panola and Starkville
