In high school our Cross Country team's slogan was "Run like you stole something." Probably used by other teams, but it was simple, to the point, and somewhat motivating to yell right before a race started.

"Take a stand" seems awfully coincidental given the whole State flag debate...

That's pretty ironic...and pretty funny.

I actually it started as "take the stand." It was for support with the keechies beat down, elston, bobby hill, stringfellow, brunetti, golson, and most recently the Tunsil situation. I think it just stuck. They changed it a bit and voila....the new slogan. Take a stand with relentless effort while going all in to win the day. WANM

"Where's the beef" will never occur to a vegetarian like Freeze.

He can never come up with his own. He always recycles old sayings that once had a totally different meaning?I guess next year there slogan will be the original: LET'S GO, FIGHT, WIN.

Someone needs to photoshop a pic of him as a beaver under an old tree stand, chewing on it.

This really may be the best post of the thread so far.

they should use "are you ready" every year and we should use "Our State" every year.

Take a Stand sounds like their OT's defense against the prosecution. It reminds me of Newton's "all in."
