Eggggzactly! Drivin Hwy 49 in & of itself is dangerous enough with all the wrecks, but add late night drivin & its a recipe for disaster. Guess hotel'ing it or bumming it on a friends couch in H-Burg that I didn't know I had will be in the works.

This is a hell of a lot better than 90+ degree heat and 90% humidity.
I was thinking about going but getting home at 4 or 5 in the morning is a non-starter.
How about an elitedawgs tailgate? Cover the district in maroon...
Well my family is close enough it doesn't matter the start. Personally I like it for a holiday game. But understand people driving a long distance may have issues. If you plan of renting a room look at the rooms right off 49 on Classic Drive or on Hwy 98 right off of I-59. Some of the hotels on 49 from I-59 to the university are getting a bit of a reputation although are cheaper.
I think it's good. Everybody can dove hunt in the morning and afternoon and have time to get good and sauced before kickoff.
Those of us that won't be able to attend the game anyway should be ok with it.
who's gonna be calling the game, Cotton & Pepper?

Makes it a 10 PM Kick .. too many commercials .. am tempted to record and get up early Sun morning and watch before Church.
Shoot, who am I kidding .. I know the adrenaline will be pumping .. I just will have to lean out the Beer-to-game schedule a little to compensate for the later start.
Just made hotel reservations for Saturday. FYI, no Hilton family rooms left, but Choice Hotels have plenty, and the game night rates have not been put in place yet. And yes, libations will flow with a DD. I have the oldest and the youngest at MSU. The middle one is on scholarship at USM. But, he is still a Bulldog with a cowbell on the Burg campus!
When was the last time we had a late kick off like this within a central time zone state?
I'm gonna have to delay my drinking routine 3 hours or I won't remember the 2nd half
