I'd also say that people are finally starting to realize the on-field results don't match the Cohen Legend. Sure, the run to the Championship Series was magical. And I wouldn't trade it for anything. But 1 regional host in 7 years is unacceptable for our program. And even if you're willing to discount the first two years that's 1 host in 5 years. Still not anywhere near our expectations. And likely missing the postseason all together in year 7 is so bad it's mind blowing. Frankly, it's like being on the Crxxm 10 year rebuilding project to still be this bad with supposedly the "best coach in the nation" at the helm.

If Butch Thompson didn't do one of the best jobs coaching a pitch staff in SEC history , we might have already been talking about Cohen on the hot seat.

The job he did with the pitching staff was unquestionably excellent. Not saying he is great now but without that pitching staff going out of their minds we don't even get to Virginia much less the finals.
