The least thing that can happen is the D2 QB that they picked up as an after thought who of course turned into a Heisman contender can actually move on to the NFL after his fifth year in college.
And yeah Kiffin leaving will definitely hurt them but the collateral damage probably won't really show up for at least another year or so.
They won't be a regular playoff contender, but they will be in the conversation more times than not. Why you may ask? Because they're all in. They aren't asking for handouts or access in exchange for donations. They aren't asking to call plays or free jerseys or for the head coach to come to their grandson's Upward game on a Saturday morning. They just donate and move on with life. They may not like how things are now, and most don't by the way, but they know this is how you remain relevant and uber competitive in today's college sports environment.Quote:

Yea, and you didn't even mention that they have not played a decent Power 4 team since Kiffin got there. In fact, they somehow got by this year with Washington State being their P4 out of that glorious Pac-2 league. Really comes down to whether or not the defense improves enough under Arnett to turn the corner. It will probably happen even if Arnett is what he was under Leach which was honestly average if we're looking at the numbers objectively and not every time he finished 5th in a category. Average is good enough to save Lebby I think.
