And with NIL involved now, and the lack of college interest in high school kids, it's smart for kids to secure their spot when they can. So sometimes they're going to commit to a school when they can, before other schools get their complete package/offer together. The game has changed.
I wouldn't judge a kid's character based on his back and forth between schools. Back in "the good old days" you know what was happening when kids flipped like this, this late. But now that everything is above table, it's just part of the process.
I’m not really blaming the kid. The system is the system. It arguably a pretty poor system. I hope these kids have good parents. It does concern me how many kids lives this money may ruin. Being an 18 yo worth half a mil and up has to be a ride.Quote:
