The bad part (in my mind), is even if they lose Kiffin and the game to us... how much of a swing in recruiting momentum actually happens? They will still have all the money and their boosters will probably raise a few million more just out of spite towards us.

They will. They will fire a quality replacement if he does not win as much as lane. Lane struggled even with that soft a$$ schedule the last two years. Next guy will lose some of those and they will fire a guy for 7-5 or too many 8-4 with a bowl loss. Then Lane will have a title in 3 years and nobody will remember OM

Peter Burns and Chris Doering did an interview with Mullen today (Idk why) but they asked him what was his favorite Egg Bowl moment. He told the 2013 story of course with Dak's mom passing, Dak being hurt, and how it was a miracle Dak was able to come in and play to help lead the comeback. Dan was in tears telling the story. It's on Twitter if anyone wants to watch it.

But I'm saying this cause I dont remember what thread it was on but it was conversations about how Dan doesn't like Starkviile and will never come back. It's obvious after watching that interview.. Starkville and State means something to him. I'm sure as he has gotten older he realized what he had here. And this is not me pushing for Mullen to come back. Just a cool story and it involves the Egg Bowl.
