I'm not disagreeing with you.. the stats are there. I'm just saying I think he is probably a better qb than what the stats show. Definitely hard to argue with your point. Im with you when you say you can use them for one point and not for another

He’s definitely better than stats show, unfortunately he’s a pocket passer behind the worst OL unit I have ever watched.I get everyone calling for KT bc a mobile guy behind this atrocious line would give us a better chance to win but Shapens confidence from game 1 this year to now looks shot. I think you ran that risk with KT handing the reigns off any earlier than now. All for him to start in the Egg bc what do you have to lose.
And I have seen some say since Shapen is a senior he should be able to finish it out. I hear those folks, I really do but this isnt high school. Youre paid to compete and sometimes in life you dont got it or the cards are against you so Lebby as the leader needs to make that change.
Great post bro. Spot on. I actually made a post a few days ago that Shapen is cooked for the Egg Bowl simply because his confidence is gone. It has to be. And that in itself effects playing ability tremendously. I've been one of those guys saying to give KT a shot because he can has the ability to make a negative play turn into a positive and with the O Line we have, I think its essential. I dont think Shapen really has that ability. I understand he is a freshman and may not know the ins and outs of the offense, he will make bad decisions, bad reads, etc.. but Shapen has been a turnover machine this year. What could you possibly lose at this point? We know all this point Shapen isn't the guy with this O Line. Maybe, MAYBE, KT can produce some more positive plays and keep the defense on the sideline.
should be a good win next friday
When the HC tells you Shapen is going to start- believe him.
Hopefully KT plays some meaningful plays in the game
