Wow, this complaining is getting ridiculous. The cowbells are just like they have been for the last 50 years. You sensitive butterflies need to chill. Maybe we should have every fan carrying a cowbell go into a threater under the grandstands and watch a 30 minute video on proper ring etiquette with special emphasis on kindness, compassion and respect to the our opponent's fans. Besides, it's a waste of time to ring because the brilliant posters in this thread have determined that the bell makes no difference and can be barely heard over the voices of our great opponents. Not to mention that Coach Lebby wants to ban them because his team can't hear the calls.
Lebby might want to be mindful of who his audience is. He hasn't achieved stature above our beloved cowbell.
Maybe I said it wrong... but my point is we have fans that only ring and do not yell...
That multi tasking would help us out if we yell more. I seriously see so many just ring the bell and say nothing. Fire up a fanbase? Freaking yell and don't be lazy and just ring the bell. That is our new slogan ***
