Kamario knows about 10% of the playbook. Some of that is by design because we are giving him what he can handle. That is the package of plays he has been given. He made the wrong read twice. Like I stated in another thread, there is some frustration the he is not picking some of the reads up a little quicker but at the same time we cannot stop practice every 5 minutes for 20 minutes to walk Kamario through the reads.

I don't call out players... I stick to coaches, who I feel aren't putting players in the best position to win. I do find it rich that some of the same ones that blamed the loss on shapen Saturday here, cheer him on for basically calling them out. The only difference is the platform in which he was called out on.

ETA... BTW, I have no problem calling out players. Well, unless it's a kicker, punter, or LS or someone that doesn't make crap, if you dish it out, you should be able to take it though. No problem with Shapen in this instance

Or how about do what Ron Polk did in the 80's when high school baseball was dominated by assistant football coaches who coached the team recreationally and actually cultivate coaches that run somewhat modern offenses at the high school level? Sure there are some out there but for the most part it's a joke.

Shapen did cost us the game and he took responsibility. And we have fans who are calling him out that are saying some things that are unfair to him. Both can be true.

What's rich is you saying that you want to call our coaches for not putting players in a position to succeed while then championing for the coach to play the QB that gives us the least chance to succeed right now.

KT has been on campus 11 months now. How can he not be further along? Is he getting any development? More coaching fails?

Said qb is already playing. I've called for a series or 2 every game, but I want some 1-read passes added to his role. This is hardly a controversial take.

I am so tired of having players that are not ready. They have had 4 months of practice. WTF is the issue? How do other teams that have freshman OL or freshman QBs get their players ready?
