Arnold got $1MM more dollarinos to go to Auburn. Had zero to do with Shapen. Arnold was told he would be the starter. But we are trying to be ballers on a budget- Auburn isnt.

Exactly my point in this post. Week 1 does not give the full story and everyone is shaking off dust.

What can be seen is ASU had to get more creative as the game went on bc they cannot establish the run easily like they did last year.

What we saw were some of the same issues from last year but also some potential improvements that make us more competitive. Ie our secondary.

My gut tells me that we flip the script from last years game and establish the run early and work more play action than death by screens. Hell if I am Lebby I take the ball first if we win the toss bc I truly believe we can work from ahead all game instead of chasing everyone like last year.

We should have won last year. Seriously. Take Skattebo off the field and we beat them. That dude was the absolute best rusher in all of college football last year.

Disagree. They were not playing scrubs at the end of the game. WE tightened up on defense and start executing on offense.
The jumped on us to start the game, by the end, they were happy we ran out of time.
