Looks like usm is starting Starkville Academy product Colby Allen. Pre season AA. Went 10-2 last year in only 2 starts. 7 saves. Trying to see if we faced him last year but not finding that information. He pitched 3 innings over this past wkend giving up 2 earned runs.
I’m sure this guy will be motivated. Could be a situation where he didn’t have an offer from the dawgs.
Going to be really interesting to see how true freshman Foster handles being on the road in front of a sell out crowd in one of the biggest if not the biggest regular season game for the buzzards.
It will pay off down the road. He has a lot of talent and I think he will be fine. Probably will go 2-3 innings max anyway.Quote:

Another Lemonis lemon team. This team has a long way to go to finish in the top 8 in the SEC. A pretty average USM team looks better so far. Maybe this pitching injury gives us a break
Maybe a lot of unproven guys shouldn't be hitting above Hines
