It never is. Our basketball fans get really excited early every year. We are about what I expected. Maybe a tournament team.

At this point i'm not sure Brick City 12 finishes the season over 35% shooting overall.

We do this in all sports as we want a winner so badly. Not easy being a State fan at all.

No it's not. It's a tough life. In bad about doing this in baseball. I think we are a CWS team every year, then reality sets in.
I know better in football. We are going to suck.
Basketball is just meh to me but I can't not watch it when we are playing. I just don't expect much.

Know what you mean. Son and I went to last year's Spring Football game (57 consecutive years of family having season tickets) for the first time in a few years and I was so excited watching the offense and predicted 7-5 floor and 8-4 ceiling for Lebby's first year. Didn't stop to think that I was also looking at bad defense against that offense and an "On the job training" staff in many positions. Didn't realize I was looking at "Tech and 10, 2.0". Oh, well, won't be long until Spring Training and we have no losses for '25 at this point.*** Hail State!
