He'll compete with Van Buren. If Van Buren is as good as everyone on here thinks he is then he'll win the job. I do know for a fact that Arnold is not asking for a guaranteed starting spot. He was going to transfer out of all likelihood anyways. They went to OU SOLELY because of Lebby but they offered him the world to keep him so he wanted to stay for a year to see if they could make it work. If you had to ask me right now, Arnold wins the job. Familiarity with the offense and familiarity with Lebby. Lebby handpicked this guy to be his QB at Oklahoma after Gabriel.Quote:

You have to always be looking to improve your team AT EVERY POSITION. But you can't get greedy trying to upgrade one when it is to the detriment of another. That I agree with. If the tag is too pricey, or he wants a guaranteed spot then you pass. We can go find a guy who will want to compete as there will be more than a few out there. However, we have money to spend on a top QB and money to go get top tier defensive talent.Quote:
