Hi Todd, what do you think of Ole Miss' JT Quinn and Grayson Saunier. It's not tampering, they are already in the portal and were rather big recruits.

You don't break the bank with players that are not currently stellar. Plus they come with 170 combined innings of D1 experience. Maybe they come humble and ready to work with Parker. Seems we can catch their peak year of performance as Juniors.

What sticks out about OM is that the whole staff is on fire. Like when MSU had Foxy. Seems more like coaching issues that talent.

Not disputing, I don't know anything.

What I read about LSU with Crews, Skenes, and Tanks is that their money was way lower than that. More like 80K but with money promised after school. Like Tanks stays the Baton Rouge face of Raising Cain's for a few years. Crews continues to rep Mariucci bats for a few years. But the money was not that big. But I am not saying that I truly know the numbers.

I'd love to see what Augie Garrido would think of coaching in the NIL era of College Baseball. He would have had a heart attack every game from cussing so much. This post is for the baseball gurus that knew how he coached and how he approached the game. I think his last stop was Texas?

The numbers are “total package”. Nobody is handing them that much in cash. 40K may be in the form of a car donated by a car dealer. Then set them up with X amount of dollars with this or that company paying that part of it- etc. Crews, Tanks, and Skenes total packages were way north of 80K

UT paying Fisher double what OM offered. Not 500k though.

Most players aren't getting anywhere near this amount. But Fisher checks off a lot of boxes for UT

I like Saunier but I will say really the only game I saw him pitch was against us in the Governor's Cup and I thought he did a good job. I know he lost his rotation job at Ole Miss. He seems like a guy that Parker could "fix".

Quinn apparently wants to go play closer to home in Florida but I would be fine taking him too.

yeah thats why I said south of 500K. Crazy packages out there for certain guys.

2 good pulls by us this week. Need a couple more quality pulls and we will have had a good portal season

Tenn got the title and money is coming in. Overpay to rebuild and make sure you are there in the mix again. Makes your HS recruiting easier and portal guys even more interested. Good plan for 2025
