I'd do it just to try to throw off their timing. Mlb teams seem to struggle the next night after facing a position player... facing below hitting speed pitching throws you off it seems

I wish we were straight analytics. Analytics say lefty vs lefty doesn't matter. Lemonis brought Tullar in to face the 2 lefties vs Texas. And that's a big reason Bednar wasn't on the hill tonight. That Friday night game vs Texas was huge!!

In all seriousness, State has hit the ball harder than Vandy all game. Out pitched them minus 1st inning. They blew their best pitcher tonight and they have hit one ball hard all night. We are winning this series. Rocker won’t pitch tomorrow the freshman will. Sims might start for us. Then setup for a Bednar v Rocker Wednesday

Look guys, we blew it in the 1st. We played Leiter neck to neck with our bullpen.

Tomorrow is another day. We cannot give up at bats. We cannot issue walks early in innings. Those two things, are our weakest link. We made them earn nothing. Beach balls.

Mac has earned every bit of criticism for tonight. Same goes for Lemonis and Foxhall. You could tell after the first walk he did not have it. Again. Just pissed off. We all said back In 13 that we could win the next game then throw Graveman, but we know how that went. Highly doubt our bats wake up for tomorrow to give us a win

I kinda think the finals should give both teams who get there enough time to reset there rotation and be at full strength. If you make it that far, each team should have their best available to play a series for it all. But for sure we shouldn't have been penalized for what happened to NC State.

The worst thing is every vandy run expect for maybe 2 reached base via walk or hbp. This is just like 2013 when UCLA came in with bad hitting. The book on them was no walks and no errors. What do we proceed to do? Walk the ballpark and kick the ball around all night. Just fukk it all.

So tomorrow Harding, Johnson and Sims?

Hootie will have to give us 4+. We will have to burn Sims & Johnson to win. Then Bednar will have to go 5+. And who know who goes behind him. I just can't see it. We really had to win tonight or at least eat up their pen.

One way you can tell that Vandy does things 'differently' in terms of financial aid for their baseball players is that they have BY FAR the most minorities on their team of any school around. Lots of high draft projected blacks and hispanics all over the team that come from all over the country. Something you really don't see anywhere else.

We have struck out a ton of guys and we are in the Championship....so clearly Foxhall is a good coach right? But on the other hand, how do you have arms like Cerentola, Macleod, and Fristoe ALL regress to the point that they can't even pitch an inning of quality ball for you? Cerentola has always been wild, but what in the hell happened to Macleod and Fristoe this year?
