From my post on their board I have been told that
A. Crystal Palace fans are the best in England.
B. they chant and sing all game no matter what.
C. They, like MSU, are referred to as a roller coaster type team.
D. Strong D and counter attack, USA style play.
E. rivals are Brighton
F. Many said I was extremely lucky to draw Palace.
G. Rooting for a smaller club is 1000 times better than a big one
H. They really don't get geographical differences. Was told to try to make their game in Columbus OH next week.
Report: Real Madrid and James Rodriguez have agreed on terms to bring him to the Spanish capital
And here are the Leicester City FC home kits

Saw the London thing and decided to post, particularly in support of Smitty and CPFC. Facts are girls that Smitty is the lucky one because despite all of the hooligan stuff (which is all old stuff that just doesn't really happen anymore) we, CPFC, are the noisiest fans in the PL. Here's a pic of London for you so you know where your teams actually are, there are other clubs in other division in London too but I haven't added them.

And this is us lot from last season at Arsenal's ground, filmed by an Arsenal tourist. We're losing the match but doesn't really sound that way does it...... :D Listen carefully on 20 seconds at the woman surprised at what we're doing "Oh my God they're jumping up and down"

Pretty similar thing at all the grounds, Palace making the noise. NOBODY does it like us.

Anti-addick BRINGIN' IT with his first post! Might have a 2015 RotY contender here, boys.
So it seems the Leicester City is the Mississippi State of the EPL in one way. They have a hashtag for EVERYTHING. Sound familiar?
Just a tidbit, Everton are in works to bring Romelu Lukaku back to Goodison Park next year. We are hoping for a permanent purchase, but it may be another loan. Either way, huge.
Come on Sounders!
http://media.komonews.com/images/130...dempsey_lg.jpg
A. When do the Sounders and Tottenham play
B. Transfer news: Real Madrid has loaned out Henrique Casemiero on a year long loan to FC Porto and sold striker Alvaro Morata to Juventus for $27 million with the option to buy the player back
Tottenham and Seattle play at 3 on espn2. Followed by Sporting KC and LA Galaxy, a marquee mls matchup.
Love the first post anti-addick. Stick around for a bit if you like.
Thanks Ref. I was thoroughly confused as to why I was watching the end of the College HR derby re-run.
Here we go....Sounders vs. Spurs
Classy move by the Sounders and the Spurs. 18 year-old Make-a-wish kid started the match and got a free run on goal which was eventually saved. But still very classy for them to do that. Dempsey is playing against his old squad in Tottenham.
And the Sounders tie it 1-1 with a PK
Wish CenturyLink didn't have to use turf. Great stadium and atmosphere that takes a step back because of the field but with the weather I understand why it's the only option for Seattle.
My friend is going to be so pissed if Seattle wins or even if it's a draw. He basically made it sound like they had no chance in hell to win this. That the BPL was so far above the MLS that even Tottenham should win this game 5-1 without really trying.
Ah, West Ham's last visit to Columbus ended well....drunk Ohioans, drunk Hammer Hooligans.....

Arsenal won their first scrimmage 2-0 vs some team I've never heard of
Gents, I've been guided here unknowingly via Smitty who has posted on our forum (Crystal Palace, for those not keeping up).
As a local and long time supporter of Crystal Palace I have a good understanding of the Premier League and English football. As a few of you are new to following English football (after a great run in the World Cup) I wanted to offer to answer any questions about the clubs you have drawn, players/managers, rivalries and transfer speculations you might have.
Thank you.
It's a real tough one to call this year, both at the top and at the bottom. Which hopefully will make it very entertaining.
Personally I have money on Hull, Stoke and Burnley to go down.
Hull seem to have spent a lot of money on some fairly average players and I don't think they've strengthened their squad at all this transfer window.
Stoke are selling most their good players and bringing hardly anybody in, they were already flirting with relegation last season.
Burnley got promoted out of a fairly weak bunch (with the exception of Leicester). Where Leicester have a good core squad and QPR have shed-loads of money Burnley are lacking in both departments and will struggle in the top league.
All speculation as I'm sure you know though. Plus the transfer window isn't over yet!
Great team, great fans.
A lot of the Palace fans stood in support of the "We are City" fans.
The current Rich Arab owner is trying to change the name from Hull City to Hull Tigers to boost support in Arabic and Asian countries. The FA and most supporters of clubs have stood against the change (Heritage over Money argument). So far You, and we, have been successful.
For further reading see how Vincent Tan bought Cardiff City and changed their colours, badge and almost all the staff. He ripped the heart out of the club, lost key members of staff and the fans support and they got relegated last year. Plus he looks like a Bond villain.
Okay, wasn't gonna tell Smitty but Crystal Palace has the finest Cheerleaders in the EPL. Here is my assigned team's own version the Hammerettes - they do not accurately depict the offerings of East End London....

Our key rivalry is with Brighton and Hove Albion (Brighton for short) as of some bad history between the clubs. They're in the league below us currently. We have lesser rivalries between Charlton and Millwall due to geography.
WestHam v Millwall certainly has the greatest fame for rivalry (mainly due to the violence back in the 80s and early 90s). But almost every club has a rivalry that can get . . . uncomfortable, if you're in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Liverpool won their scrimmage vs Preston 2-1 today. #demand
A huge blow to any team losing arguably the worlds best striker. That said they've made some very smart signings so far and Suarez would still be serving a ban for the first part of the season and would miss games for Liverpool where they could ill-afford him to be absent.
I can't give you an absolute answer as we're yet to see how the new signings gel in the team but I would expect Brendan Rodgers to get the best for them (voted 2nd best manager last season after Crystal Palace's Tony Pulis). So long story short, you should be fine but it will still sting a bit.
