Ok, ULL officials tell me the game won't restart until a final cell passes Tigue Moore Field. They don't want to start, stop, restart.


So it might be a little while longer.. I still see storms from the southeast popping up

My mom is one of the only women I know that will actually listen to a game on the radio. With my wife.... she'll watch it, but she doesn't get the concept of putting off watching something else just to LISTEN to the game....

Does it take a little time for the rain to drain out; I mean can you really just go out there right after it stops and play like normal?

Exactly. Who gives a shit if they have to stop-and-start again 3 times? You get the game restarted as soon as it is possible, unless you have an agenda.

My thoughts exactly!

Does anyone else feel like some of the ULL "officials" are pushing this thing back so they don't have to play us today? If you look at the radar the cell has passed . The bad thing is the are spotty showers in Lafayette through Tuesday

I think ull officials are a lot more concerned with their pitching situation than their fans.

Just said over PA game starts at 5:50 or at least thats what sounded like over espn3

Official word is first pitch will be at 5:50 PM CDT.

They're just trying to keep their season alive a little longer. They know the iceberg is waiting on their titanic season

I wonder if this is something that can be protested. This goes WAY beyond what "home-field advantage" is supposed to be worth. To me, this is basically cheating.
