Agree, but to add to your analogy, we are a decent looking guy that could actually land that girl with the correct personality & moves, but we never get that far because he cum in our pants at first site of her. Bama makes you play faster & our guys aren't comfortable with that. If we could ever run things in a way at practice & the way we operate that made our players comfortable playing fast, I think we'd fare much better.

They are much more talented, but we seem to drop more passes against Bama than any other team every year. That's not talent. That's a product of being uncomfortable.

I'm not really talking about going tempo. I'm talking about the game speeding up & how uncomfortable our team gets due to that.

We are a good high school hitter with a D1 offers that only faces 86 mph pitchers in high school & is then asked to hit a 95 mph pitcher in the next game. It's not we don't have the ability, it's that we are asked to play at a speed that we aren't used to.

I'll say this: if Bama would loan us their backups to practice against, we'd play much better against Bama. Bama makes you hurry & you end up making mistakes due to that

Your right, that's exactly where we are now, we didn't fire the last bunch but they GTFO as fast as they could. We have let this play out, a lot of young players on defense, most still trying to figure it out.
