You never play the game did you. It’s instinct for sure. As for losing that was going to happen anyway. But the rule is horseshit.

Something needs to be said about QBs lowering their heads on QB runs. The crown of the helmet is now a weapon. Isn't that the whole thing about targeting?

You can slide but if you launch yourself to gain extra yards with your head down that's an unsportsmanlike conduct call.

Biggest impact is that our defense is wearing out and that probably would have gotten us off the field. With our current offense I don't think we could win this game in the 4th Q because with the OM tempo our defense was not going to hold up.
