Air Force has a chance to go 12-0 with their remaining schedule. Air Force will get to play in a NY 6 game. I know. They don?t play anybody! But. State is struggling to get bowl eligible. So there is a relevancy to the point. Programs like Tulane, Coastal Carolina, Liberty, Memphis a few years ago, marginal programs finding ways to get to a NY 6 game.

But hey, State is 2 wins away from Birmingham Bowl eligibility! And I have a place to stay there!!!

We win this going away with Mike Wright too if not for a stupid ass WR illegal block call & dumb ass play calling. Only one series where the play calling was really good.. and we scored. I have to think it's due to Arnett's influence. Barbay can't be that incompetent.

That is a terrible argument. All of those teams have a clear path to a NY6 bowl by winning a trash conference and not playing anybody in the OOC.

Don't care if you don't like that reasoning but if he beats Kentucky and a ranked UM team in the Egg Bowl to go 7-5. You better get over it. Because he won't be fired

Don't know about 'going away' but play-calling and OC decision-making hurt us significantly today.

Thanks for making my point which is we will always be low dog in the SEC. And because of that our fans get to enjoy low end meaningless bowls while those programs in crap conferences occasionally get to play in a meaningless New Years 6 Bowl.

Maybe a 10-2 Ole Miss can match up with 12-0 Air Force this season.

First of all, I’m not giving scUM a 10-2 season. Not happening.

Secondly, for us, Arkansas, the confederates, and Kentucky to sniff a NY6 bowl, we have to NOT lose to any of those teams, and beat Auburn, Florida, and A&M. Then you gotta hope to get 1 of LSU and/or Bama which means by virtue of losing to us, they are “down”.

It just doesn’t happen very much. Now you bring in 2 more powers like Texas and OU which means you have to have that once in a decade special season to get there.

I never feel confident playing om even with Dak playing his last two years. But I REALLY don’t want to watch this game. Concerned this will be Lane’s signature stomp over the DOGS. I did like the way the def played today and have hopes for the offense, but hoping om gets at LEAST one more loss.
