No doubt he's a defensive liability and always will be........He might improve some defensively but I don't see him getting any better offensively.........He's the same player now he was last year and will be the same player next year he is this year......Yeah, I'd like to know the number of points he gave up tonight but it's probably less than he scored........
It's beyond ridiculous that we haven't gotten past the 1st round of the tournament since Stansbury. I'm frustrated as hell but proud the guys fought back the way they did. It's gonna be a long off season
We got a gift on the Harris 3 foul though
I'll give us this, we could've rolled over when it got to 10 but we fought. I just look back at those two 3s missed by Kugel and Hubbard when we were down 5 with the ball. If either of those fall I think we win, because they immediately went down and got buckets both times.
I was just about to say Harris cost us late, but his 3 FTs were a big reason we had a chance at the end. Still absolutely hate him taking that shot. I really think he panicked and thought there was less time than there was. We had Kugel cutting to the corner and was going to be open. He was 3-3 on the corner 3 today.
The fact we are absolutely horrid on defense makes me kinda pissed we didn't use clary. Any dip from our terrible defense woulda been offset by having an actual ball handler that can score.
ETa... season, not just today
I have a feeling we going straight 2023/2024 state/2025 aTm next season. All D and hope we can score enough to win.
Seriously, will we ever have anything to really feel good about with a male MSU sport ever again? In this current environment I'm really beginning to wonder.
