Taking what I have read from Robertson and Jones, as well as talking to a couple of people, I think we are probably done at DB until the spring portal period unless someone from a semi final team jumps, which is not out of the realm of possibility. We have Kelly Jones who I thought was solid. We can see what we have with the current group in the spring and if we need to add a CB we can get one in the spring portal.
I think Pollack had a chance to be a draft pick. I'm not saying a first rounder or anything, but the kid had talent and he was performing well, even without our DL getting pressure. I think we have improved a lot on defense, but corner is not one of those spots, at least on paper. Maybe the Lewis kid blows up. No clue. We need two corners from P4 programs to hit the portal and we need them both. If the goal is to get to 6 wins, we need two solid corners from the portal. Just my opinion.Quote:
