Williams and Thompson would be two major reaches and leave only one more receiver spot. That's bad recruiting!

Some of you ignore talent for production. Kevin Coleman was a talent over production pick up from last year.

I don't understand this with NIL. With what we are paying some of these guys, what's wrong with covering their tuition as NIL instead of schollies? His NIL would essentially be the cost of a scholarship. And we can call him a walk-on

I don’t think it’s about scholarship vs NIL. It’s the actual number of roster spots we have open total…I think.

I think Williams can be a good player. The guys he sat behind were NFL type guys, not scrubs. Lane doesn't rotate WR's, doesn't mean the kid isn't talented.

What does everybody think about Mi'Quise Grace, edge from South Dakota? On campus today.

Williams will be on his visit later today. I would expect we wrap that one up in pretty short order.

I hope we don't overpay. He was getting paid well by the bears. I would hope we pay him on a "prove it" deal. I guess we may not have that as an option.

In a perfect world you could do that. The NIL era is about the exact opposite of that. If he is visiting, we have already met his offer and agreed to whatever his number is.

I would tend to think it is James or Allen over Grace. Grace seems to want to take his visits
