I'm fine with that. Personally I'd try to get Petty and we need a running back. Other than that we're OK.

The normal non NIL cash is still flowing and that's exactly why I think some commits will $uddenly have a change of heart*******
Noreel White officially to OM.
Ole Mi$$ has cleaned up with good players from the MS Gulf Coast. Time will tell very quickly whether big $ to HS players, them or $ to retain proven players, us, is the way to go. I think a blend of both with major retention $ is the way to go in this crazy, Semi-pro, NIL world. 2023 for us, 7-5 floor, 9-3 ceiling. 6-6 is a failure no matter who the coach is. We have moved beyond that! Hail State!
We came out with momentum and they've countered. Time for us to respond
Only coast players I can think of having a real impact recently is Walley and Derrick Hall
Jay Lindsey decommits.
Our recruiting sucks right now.
OM is kicking our ass in state outside a few guys. We decided not to play the NIL game with HS guys and it is killing us. It's pay to play now and we better figure that out. We are being told that we are using NIL to keep guys already on the roster, but 2 to 3 years from now there won't be any talent to keep if we don't get in the game
So when we flip an AR and Big10 commit and grab a player who killed it at our camp, y'all going to come back and tell us we suck? We've got an A&M fan bitching up in here.
I remember hearing Charlie saying that most of the NIL money is going to the players already on the roster and not a lot of recruits. My first thought was ? Well, that?s dumb?.
How many recruits have we lost because of NIL? Beavers? Banks? Daniels? . This is something that needs to be fixed.
I don't understand guys coming to a Mississippi state thread to praise Ole Miss. It's the craziest thing to me.
Fan perception of NIL is not NIL reality.
I think it will depend what big 10 team. If it's OSU, Michigan or PSU I'll be pumped. If it's Indiana, Illinois or Purdue, I'm not sure I'll get that pumped.
I think the season just needs to start. Once we start winning games, this stuff becomes less important.
The way I took it is we are still developing our NIL and felt like it was best to lock up our guys with what we had now based on where we were at the time.
I think as things grow with our NIL collective we'll start to use it more and more on recruits.
I'm sure Charlie meets with the coaches and gets input on how they want to spend the money. Losing so many seniors I suspect we'll focus a lot on the portal this offseason.
Recruits ideas on NIL are reality. Three years from now, when we don?t have studs we will still have n issue with keeping players. Got to get the talent on campus to keep them.
No big surprise as TE Jay Lindsey committed to bama yesterday. Who's next in our boat? Hail State?
Our 16th commit: (Thread was started about him a couple of days ago - putting it here) Jacorey Whitted, TE, 6' 5 1/2", 253, McCalla, AL, McAdory High School 3 Star, .89 (4 star .8953 247Sports Composite, #20 in AL), #22 in state. Very nice to get a true TE (rated higher than the bama TE that decommitted from us to bama. Now, who's next? Hail State!
Bottom line is we need a better man at the QB. We got talent elsewhere
Heard today that JuJu Pope (4 star) is going to be on campus this weekend for an unofficial visit. While he is an Arkansas commit I think we still have a good chance at him. Was also told from a reliable source the his mom is a huge TSUN supporter but that he hated it there on his visit. Money does talk though
Pope and Hill in Starkville this weekend (Hill holding out for Bama)
Oh well
So any idea what this world class staff of recruiters has up their sleeve to bring in some DL, Safety help, OL, etc.
