They are also after Mecole Hardman, I just think Knott is down the list.

So does anyone have a good list of who all is going to be here?
Any chance AJ shows up in Starkville, or is he for sure going to Bama today?
Probably won't know until tonight.
He could come unofficially tonight, and then leave for Bama, but Im not sure Saban will deal with that. When you are recruiting at Bama's level you don't have to put up with the guys cancelling at the last minute.
My gut says he goes to Bama this weekend, but that we get him in for an official visit before signing day. Not sure when, could be mid week, or could be next weekend.
Still not the least bit worried with AJ or Kobe despite all efforts by the bears that are trolling the board.
I am not in the least bit worried about those two and a few more.
Looks like we are trending for Cecil Stallings, a DE out of Georgia.
It looks like the new staff at South Carolina aren't honoring his commitment. At least that is the rumor. Looks like a solid prospect.

FYI, had lunch with an old friend today that follows recruiting closer than me, and has way better contacts than me, and he thinks we will take at least 10 more commitments.
We only have 13 commits right now, and 4 are early enrollees, so one or more may count back to the previous year. He thinks there is no way we don't take and sign at least 10 more players. I was thinking 8-9, but he is telling me at least 10 more.
Considering we can count some of the guys that enrolled early to last year's class, that makes sense. Anyway, just wanted to pass this info along, and what it tells me is that this is going to be an exciting next 18 days. Lets hope the board can keep it together over the next few weeks, there will be ups and downs, but I think we close strong.
Brown officially on his way to Bama.
AJ Brown @Brown1arthur
On the way to T-Town #RollTide
I don't see this as a big deal.
I'll be worried if he doesn't visit MSU, but I don't see logic in worrying because he isn't going to MSU this weekend.
Truth is, so long as he doesn't commit to Bama this weekend, it's probably best that he gets that visit out of the way now.
Nero Nelson & Marquiss Spencer have moved their visits back to next weekend & it's not like Kobe & Lashley can't come back when AJ does.
My point is that, I understand that we want & need AJ to officially visit, but I never understood why people were so worried that is was going to be this weekend.
He's going where he was scheduled to go. Nothing shocking.
He could be here next weekend simply because I truly think it's us Bama or TSUN left In the running why take an OV to Cal next weekend
The kid is from Starkville and is always on State's campus. What the hell would he gain from "officially" visiting?
Every kid should take all 5 visits especially if you know where you're going.
Cal and Berkley are some of the cooler college campuses and towns you could visit for a weekend
I think you would want to get the first visit or the last visit after the dead period. We probably aren't going to get either, but... This case is a local kid who knows Starkville and MSU better than most all of us. I think you have to look at these GTR guys a little different than guys from outside the area. I hope he has a great time on all his visits.
Stallings has made it onto campus. Farrar is on his way. Farrar released his top 4 of Washington, Ok State, Texas Tech and MSU. No particular order. Eiland, Lashley and Thomas are here and I think Kobe as well.
So who will pull the trigger first this weekend?
The way I look at it with AJ, why shouldn't he take his visits if he knows he going to State? He already knows our campus. I believe by him taking his OV's elsewhere is actually a sign that he's gonna be a dawg. Just my 2 cents.
All of the rest of our scheduled visitors have made it. Moon, Davis, Knott, Simmons, Parker, Charles
Are we expecting any commitments this weekend?
