I would think Hudson could be used a few innings Monday in a pinch if the regional came down to that.

I'm thinking more for a 1 or 2 inning save in the Championship game, assuming we get there. Certainly wouldn't extend him beyond that.

No excuses for that pathetic performance from our "ace".

really good or really bad. There's just no in between with him. His last two starts have been horrendous. With him only going 3 plus puts us at a major disadvantage because now we're going deep into our BP and that's not good.
