He was the best OL at the MS/AL game. He might end up the top ranked player in the state by Feb

Folks were talking about him elevating to Top 50. He's been putting on a show this winter. Videos of him on twitter dominating at the UA game practices are really really impressive.
It is insane to see what an elite OL looks like compared to a project OL. It's just insane.
Just for fun:
1. Cross
2. Pickering
3. Young
4. Jones
5. Dean (I'm not as big on him due to size)
6. Turnage (had pretty good AA practices)
7. Moore
8. Mingo
9. Cunningham
10. Russell/Jackson
Another tweet from Bart Simmons about 45 minutes ago. Video that shows Cross easily handling Drake Jackson, a 93 composite DE that's signed with USC in a QB dummy drill.
18 hours ago Robbie Faulk tweeted out that he wouldn't be surprised if 24/7 jumped out in front of everyone and gave Cross his 5th star.
Another tweet yesterday of him going up against DeMarvin Leal, a TAMU commit that is a 5 star 98.5 composite. Stifled him on a bull rush. Leal drove him a little but it took him 4 seconds to get to the dummy. Cross is gonna be Top 50 by the time we are done, maybe higher.
Cross is a stud getting him in the boat was huge he may anchor this O-Line for 4 years. Gotta get some WRs we have the Line and QB lined up. RB is tbd currently.
Havent seen much talk on here but what are the chances we lose Charles Moore, apparently his mother is pushing him to leave MS
Moore is much closer to leaving than people think/want to admit.
According to 24/7 free articles, both he and Pickering have blown up at their positions at the practices. I assume other schools will continue to try to flip Pickering. Ari, IYOK, and others in the know, how are we with our remaining unsigned commits and any new targets. Thanks.
Well, his mom needs a little history lesson on who all we have playing in NFL right now making millions on the DL with 2 more headed to millionaire status in the June draft also.
No need for Sir Charles to go anywhere other than MSU. Will be the shortest drive of all for his mom and relatives to come watch him play also.
Where out of state would Moore go?
Yea, but Carvin was a Memphis player right? Can't believe a Mom would be pushing her son to go way off from home to play his college career out of State for what is currently a worse program unless there is behind the scenes stuff going on. Besides that, success of MS players who go to out of state SEC programs has been much more miss than hit recently.
Gotta keep Moore.
Odd recruitment though. For such a big time rankings, non of our commits appear to talk to him or know him.
We've discussed Pickering and Moore, but what's up with Cunningham, Payton, walker, Washington, James, and Emerson? How many are we likely to sign?
Cunningham is fine. It's his grades that are the problem. A LoNG way to go.
Emerson likely to Miami but his position coach was fired, so who knows. Washington ain?t getting that FSU offer. Doubt we sign Payton but have to fill that spot. Walker had to wait to sign. Cunningham wait on grades. James is gone.
Moore to Auburn, James to Auburn, Emerson to Mannymiami and Cunningham to juco. Wonderful.
Cunningham has a legitimate chance to make it, but will be an August enrollee at best.
No it's not. Payton needed to get in in Dec and didn't. He's burned bridges lying to the staff. And to be honest, Payton isn't worth the drama. Emerson loves Diaz and has been leaning Miami for some time, just have to see what the changes bring. It's 50/50 at best. Washington doesn't have the offer he wants. He's coming to State unless he gets it. Cunningham is being monitored for grades. They've improved but he's got to finish up strong.
This is why I don't follow recruiting to closely, so much drama every week for kids that you have no idea will pan out. Need to reduce the limit on schollies hard cap of 25 per year that is still not even enforced correctly isn't working.
What makes me feel better about Moore is he's already officially visited Auburn and Tennessee, and we'll get the last OV when he comes the first weekend in February. So if he's wavering at all, we'll get the last chance to reel him back in.
The fact that it’s literally all over the place with Moore tells me that no one, maybe Moore included, knows where he is going.
Moore is doing the same thing Pickering is doing- He's taking visits. He's never decommitted and he's helped recruit (maybe not as much as a couple but still).
