This is ABSOLUTELY the WORST aspect of Mullen as a coach. He has NO recognition of the personnel in the game. Running TR with an injury is ridiculous. Mullen is just NOT a smart gameday coach that much is a FACT at this point.Quote:

Yes I am. Do you think Mullen makes every single personnel decision on every play? That's insane to think. Mullen can't micromanage every little thing. Position coaches have to put the guys in the right situation and Milton being in there is not Mullen's fault. There's a reason Auburn got rid of Knox. He wasn't a good field coach and that's common knowledge. Auburn's WRs sucked under him.
Dixon and Ballard covered up a lot of mistakes because they are great backs and were every down backs. We don't have an every down back right now except for Shump and maybe J Rob, so we have to use guys in the situations they were built for. Knox isn't going to go to Mullen every play and ask him if it's ok for Milton to go in this play. He has to make that decision.
