That was a big dick performance by Cole today. Holy hell!
We literally used our 2 most unreliable pitchers this game, saving our pen for tomorrow. Denver and Cole did us a solid.
I can't believe Gordon just threw 110 pitches and got 10 k's. Where did that come from? Hell of a performance from him. I hope he got the game ball he deserved it! He was sweating so bad in the humidity at the end he had to go to the rosin bag after nearly every pitch. He needs to wear some clima cool under armor or something. Dude was sweating buckets and not from nerves.
