It’s great that they have been calling the holds on Arkansas. I think the SEC realizes it’s better for us to keep winning so we keep teams like Georgia, Auburn, and Alabama in the playoff picture. It’s good for us to be in the Top 25 so those guys can count the win against us.. I think we will see the benefit of the calls in the second half too.
To me the two biggest things wrong with Fitz are 1) no touch on the ball 2) He thinks too much. He is better when he just goes. When he has to think he gets in trouble. He looks to be overthinking things at times. I don't think he will ever be a great passer in the pocket because I f both of those things.
We are going to whip their ass in the 2nd half.
The D is doin work today, Arky has:
-2 yards rushing
90 yards passing
We survived the flukiest first 5 min possible in a game. Its over now.
If Fitz ever learns touch on the deep ball we gonna be unstoppable
Thinking too much is a result of lack of confidence in his ability to make the throw. He can get better at that by continuing to work and work harder. Touch will be harder to improve, but Dak improved a ton in that area over his career, so Fitz will have the same opportunity. Like Dak in his senior offseason, Fitz is graduating this semester and will have that much more time to work with Mullen on becoming a complete QB, so I'm optimistic he's due for a big leap next year.
Good thought...maybe

Would probably help Fitz if he knew he had WRs that could go up & catch the football
Man, that place is empty.
Good lord.
Just ridiculous execution
Our returner look clueless
I doubt it is that - or he would be missing all over the place.
People just have to keep in mind that Fitz is truly a novice at QB from an experience standpoint. He is learning what most college QBs learned in middle school. It’s that simple. When you think about it, it is amazing that been able to advance as much as he has.
Why is Todd on kick returns?? Who uses a 6'5 guy to return kicks besides us?
Nice play Fitz
Great play call with the RPO
Make em quit, fitz and aeris
Big 3rd down
If aeris had a second gear, he?d be an nfl back
Gibson hasn't been in the game since he fumbled, he might not play the rest of the year after that one
Great job
We have 2 plays to get first
Not sure about those last two play calls
