Any word on Zach Farrar? I always wanted him to end up at MSU.
For the recruiting guys, does this hurt our chances with whop? Heath?
Forget about Farrar. There's no reason for Guidry's commitment to hurt our chances with Heath or Whop. These 3 guys would transform our offense, adding a quick strike component, that we've never had in the past. You can't beat Bama or LSU without at least two elite receivers.
Malik Heath says on twitter that he's "rethinking his college decision." hopefully it's just smoke.
Don't follow high school kids on twitter
Is Cole Smith completely off the board or is there any hope he would flip to MSU?
Speaking of Cole Smith, he just got named an Under Armour All-American.
I'm just laughing at MSU OL recruiting at this point.
This staff is usually Johnny on the spot when it comes to in-state kids. Cole Smith is the snake that bit 'em.
I think they took the kid for granted, being a legacy, certainly a lapse in judgement, common sense or effort. I really wish we had Cole Smith in our auspicious OL class.
We can ding our staff all we want but the blame lies with Cole on this if there is any. The kid knows MSU inside and out and if he wanted to be at MSU that is where he would commit to go. If he really had MSU in his being like most that grew up an MSU fan not even Hevesy would deter him. It would certainly not deter him that we were a month behind LSU offering given that we still offered well before the summer of his SR year.
Anyone know a list of recruits who were at our game against LSU?
Who do y'all think the mystery OL that Paul has been talking about for the last couple weeks? He says some of us will be shocked...
Also, are we not the leader for S/LB David Reese? Stewart's brother.
We have an offensive coordinator signed? Or does 'OC' mean center? I wasn't under the impression that Cole was a center (of course I wasn't under the impression that Jenkins was a center either). But regardless, why would we not want two? We need some numbers in the OL class this year.
I'm betting it's Ohonba.
Are we close to another high profile 2019 class member committing? Maybe?
Because OL often don't pan out and our classes are imbalanced right now. If we sign two highly rated centers and they both pan out, that's not a disaster.
If we have 4 high school OL we like that commit in addition to the center, then no, I wouldn't want to use another scholarship on a second Center.
Diwun Black commits per Paul
Black is a big pickup! Great news'
Diwun Black is a 93 overall per the composite. He would be the top player in MS this year, but is currently the seventh best player in the state for 2019. Amazing how loaded the 2019 class is.
Does he project as a WR? Seems like a good fit at 6’3 190
Is black a sign and place? I graduated with his dad and I wanna say I heard some folks say that his dad has said he's got some grade issues. I may be wrong.
